<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical film comprising a non-crystalline thermoplastic resin having small thickness and residual phase difference. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical film, when the film comprising a non-crystalline thermoplastic resin extruded from the die attached to an extruding machine into a film is brought into contact with a cooling roll, the temperature of the resin just after exiting from the die and the temperature of the film just before touching the cooling roll are controlled to specified ranges as well as the temperature variance in the width direction of the film is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
