PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock with a locking checking device which allows a locking state to be checked by an operation of a key body for a predetermined time after a user goes out. SOLUTION: Constitutionally, this lock is fitted with an announcing unit 15 which has: a case body 2 which houses the key body 6 in such a manner that an insertion part 6a is protruded; and an LED lamp 12 which is located near a keyhole 35 of the lock body 36 so as to operate electrically by virtue of an action of inserting the insertion part 6a into the keyhole 35. Thus, the user can check whether the lock has been operated or not, by light emission of the LED lamp 12 even after he/she goes out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
