PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability at a site besides securing the improvement of productivity. SOLUTION: This arm member connecting structure for a door closer 10 for connecting a door side arm 40 and a frame side arm 50 rotatably to each other at their end parts is provided with a link shaft 71 fixed to the end part of the door side arm 40 and extending in a direction of the rotational center; a tip side swing member 62 swingingly provided at the end part of the frame side arm 50 and fitted to the outside rotatably around the link shaft 71; and a locking shaft mounted to the link shaft 71 and having a head 73b for preventing slip-off of the tip side swing member 62 from the link shaft 71. The locking shaft is constituted to allow the tip side swing member 62 to be attached to and detached from the supporting shaft 71 in a single operation with the radial contraction and expansion of the head 73 by elastic deformation.
