PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior-wall structure in which the self-cleaning effect of a glass window in which a hydrophilic thin-film is formed on a surface can be improved. SOLUTION: The glass window 4 is set back by S from an exterior-wall surface, and the upper wall surface of an opening section 2 and the upper end of the glass window 4 are separated by X. S/X≤tan18°, preferably S/X≤tan10°is held in the example. Thus, the self-cleaning effect by a rainfall can be displayed extensively over the whole surface of the glass window. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
