A bicycle frame has a front wheel fork with left and right sections linked by a bridge. The bridge (1) has a socket which receives the front wheel tube link to the handlebars. The socket is esp. slightly conical (2) and surrounded by a clamp. The cone widens opposite to the direction of tube insertion (3).
