<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that surely disposes a pre-transfer guide into a normal position. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning member 92 which disposes a pre-transfer guide 90 into a normal position when a front door unit 80 is closed is formed on the external wall of a plate member 90b which is opposite to the internal wall thereof. Two projections 92a are formed on the positioning member 92. The projections 92a project toward a process cartridge 30 from the external wall of the platelike member 90b. On the other hand, recesses 30a into which the projections 92a fit are formed in the process cartridge 30.
