<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle support structure of a seat belt for a vehicle that has good appearance in nonuse of the seat belt and has the high operability of locking/unlocking operation of a tongue and a buckle. <P>SOLUTION: The buckle support structure of the seat belt for the vehicle comprises a floor panel 1 forming the bottom of the vehicle, a floor mat 3 disposed on an side surface of the floor panel 1 inside the cabin, a seat 15 disposed on the floor panel on the side of a tunnel part, and the buckle 7 for lockably/unlockably holding the tongue 9 disposed onto the seat belt. The buckle 7 is mounted to the tip of the webbing 13 so that one end is fixed to the floor panel 1 and the other end is inserted into an annular holding part 3b formed by notching a part of the floor mat 3, and is disposed between a side surface of the tunnel part 1a and the seat 15. The buckle 7, while being separated from the tongue 9, is constituted so as to be held by the holding part 3b at an intermediate height position of the side surface of the tunnel part 1a in the vertical direction of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
