<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus and its interior diagnosing apparatus which enables the foreign substance/defect identification and the noise discrimination at once. <P>SOLUTION: The electric apparatus is composed of a charging conductor 1, a metal tank 2 and an insulation support 3 for keeping these electrically insulated. A looped sensor 4 is buried symmetrically to the center axis of the tank 2 in the inner peripheral edge of the conical insulation support 3. A flat plate sensor 5 for detecting electromagnetic signals in the tank 2 is disposed on the wall of the tank 2, and these are connected to the internal diagnosing apparatus 16. When a noise is incoming from outside of the electric apparatus or electromagnetic signals 9 due to partial discharge 8 propagate, a significant difference is given to the time variation or the frequency response of electromagnetic signals 6, 7 from the sensors 4, 5 and detected by the diagnosing apparatus 16 to decide on the failure of the electric apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
