PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple tool capable of opening both a bottle cap, an aluminum-made cap in particular, and a pull-top of a can body. SOLUTION: A through hole with a diameter larger than an outer diameter of an aluminum cap is provided at one of ends of an opener, and strong holding force of the cap with shallow uneven patterns is obtained by means of providing small piece holding projections made of an elastic material on at least three portions on an inner peripheral surface of the through hole. A rectangular pull-top insertion port with one of port ends inclined is formed on the other end of the opener, so that even a pull-top approximately in tight contact with an upper surface plate of a can can be easily passed through and easily opened.
