PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method which improves installation conditions and usability of a device by abolishing an combustion air inlet provided in the rear surface of the device in a conventional gas fan heater, and guides the device in a safe direction in occurrence of abnormality. SOLUTION: An opening part is not provided in a rear plate 8 of the device, and the combustion air inlet 16 is provided in the front face of the device to suck and blow air in the front.
