PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strut 3 for a building, provided with a lower base plate 11 from which a bolt shank 12 is projected, a support plate 21 from which a bolt shank 22 is extended, and a strut 31 equipped with nut sections (nut body) at the upper and lower ends, and locking nuts 4a, 4b are screwed on the respective bolt shanks and respective bolt shanks are connectedly screwed to the upper and lower end nuts, capable of facilitating the fastening works of the locking nuts.
