PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for use in nailing a partition stud formed of a steel, a thin plate, or the like to an entrance frame formed of wood, plywood, or the like, without crushing a surface of the partition stud. SOLUTION: According to the fixing method, the partition stud 20 is brought into contact with the entrance frame 10, and a first screw portion 34 of a screw 30 is penetrated through the partition stud 20 to be fastened to the entrance frame 10, followed by fastening a second screw portion 35 to the partition stud 20. In this manner, the screw 30 is fastened to the partition stud 20 until swelling of the surface 21 of the partition stud 20 occurring by the difference in lead between the first screw portion 34 and the second screw portion 35 is eliminated, and therefore the surface 21 of the partition stud 20 is prevented from being crushed by excessive fastening of the screw 30.
