The facade scaffold has a number of plug-in frames with upright tubes to connect them. A front railing (30) is fastened to each upright tube by respective detachable connections (48,50). The front railing has two connecting tubes which are interconnected by a parapet tube (40). The connecting tubes and parapet tube of the front railing are pivot-connected to each other. The detachable connections are each connected at the bottom to the connecting tubes of the scaffold. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the installation of a facade scaffold.
