The invention concerns a rotating electrical machine (10) comprising a rotor rotating about a longitudinal axis of rotation (A), and which bears a collector electrically powered by brushes (14) which extend along a substantially radial direction and in a transverse plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of rotation (A), and which are guided on a transverse contact brush holder plate (16), of the type comprising a coaxial cylindrical field frame (12) with circular cross-section bearing ferrite coils forming a stator. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a base (22) on a first transverse surface (24) of which the contact brush holder plate (16) is fixed, and on a second transverse surface (26) of which the field frame (12) is fixed, and the base (22) comprises means for angular positioning of the field frame (12) relative to the contact brush holder plate (16) through co-operation of matching shapes.
