DEVICE FOR PREVENTING FALLING FROM PLATFORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a conventional falling preventing device which is not adaptable for a vehicle having variable stop positions at a so-called curved station that the existence of a gap between a platform and the vehicle cannot be sufficiently eliminated.

SOLUTION: The falling preventing device for preventing passengers from falling between the platform and the stopped vehicle comprises a movable body 2 provided on the platform 8 and a driving means 3 for moving the movable body 2 forward or backward with respect to the vehicle. The movable body 2 is supported rockingly in a horizontal plane.
