PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that adhesive flow is caused along with rubber flow in outer peripheral end when a rubber support elastically supporting an upper structure in a bridge or the like is vulcanized and formed and in which adhesive force between a rubber layer at the outer peripheral end and a steel plate deteriorates. SOLUTION: In method of manufacturing the rubber support, each of rubber layer 16A, an upper steel plate 12, a lower steel plate 14 and an inner steel plate 18 is integrally vulcanized and formed with each other in binding state, by vertically compressing and heating a laminating body 10A alternately vertically laminating the upper steel plate 12, the lower steel plate 14, the inner steel plate 18 and the a non-vulcanized rubber layer 16A by means of a molding mold 24. Void 36 which enables the non-vulcanized rubber layer 16A to arise the rubber flow from the outer peripheral end to center side is provided in advance when molded by the molding mold 24.
