<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure of a vehicle hood flip-up device and a allow repeated reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: The flip-up device 14 comprises a link mechanism 17 and an actuator 18. The link mechanism 17 comprises a first link 21 and a slider 22. An engaging hole 21a disposed in one end of the first link is supported turnably by a hinge pivot 19 of a hood hinge 16. The slider 22 has a slide pin 25, and the slide pin 25 is slidably engaged with a slide groove 24 in the first link 21. The slider 22 is fixed to a nut part 28 of the actuator 18, and moves along a screw shaft 27 when a motor 29 rotates to one side. The first link 21 turns about a link pivot 21b in response to the movement of the slider 22, and a hood 13 fixed to the hood hinge 16 reciprocates between a flip-up position and a storing position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
