PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle device for a low tank with a handle return mechanism in which a sliding piece is not slipped off from a groove even when a tension coil is damaged. SOLUTION: A circular ring plate 40A is installed while being unified with a following-side partially toothless gear 36. The outside diameter of the ring plate 40A has a size in which a groove 82 between an annular section 79 projected from the internal surface of a housing base 16 and an arcuate section 80 is covered extensively over the whole circumference. Projecting stepped sections 68A and 70A are projected from the outer circumferential surface of the ring plate 40A. The sliding pieces 72A and 74A held into the groove 82 have collar- shaped projecting pieces 84A and 86B further projected to the outside from the outer circumferential surface of the ring plate 40A from an outer circumferential surface on the front end side of the sliders. Pawls 68A and 70A projected from the collar-shaped projecting pieces 84A and 86B and the projecting stepped sections 68A and 70A are engaged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
