PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container holder capable of certainly sensing a container placed on a rail in spite of vibration of a vehicle during travelling. SOLUTION: It is possible to arrange a photoelectric sensor 130 on the holder 86 of an main arm 20. The photoelectric sensor 130 is constituted of a projector 134 and a light receiver 136 and arranged so as to face against each of the holder 86, and it is recognized that the container is arranged on a tray 18 when it is judged that light receiving quantity by the light receiver 136 is less than a specified value against quantity of light to be projected by the projector 134. Consequently, it is possible to certainly sense the container placed on the tray 18 in spite of vibration of the vehicle during travelling by devising it so as to sense whether or not the container is placed on the tray 18 by using the photoelectric sensor 130.
