The invention concerns a feeder (1) designed for a printer printing planar articles (2), said cartridge delimiting a magazine (9) for storing stacked articles provided internally with a pivoting member (4) designed to maintain the articles (2) in pressed contact with a motor element (5) for supplying articles (2) to be printed via a slot (7) provided in a wall of the magazine (1). Said feeder (1) is characterized in that in that the pivoting member (4) is equipped with a ballast (6) to form an assembly exerting a substantially constant pressure force on the articles (2) to be printed, said pressure being automatically positioned when the loader is emptied by moving along one of the articles to be printed in a direction globally opposite to the ejecting direction of the articles from the loader. The invention is applicable to heat transfer printing of cards. |
