A multiway valve, particularly for a refrigerant circuit, comprises a housing (1) having a number of inlets and outlets and a chamber (5) with a number of seats (14a, 14b) respectively assigned to an inlet or outlet. The multiway valve also comprises a closing element (13), which can move between the seats (14a, 14b), and at least one actuator (15a, 15b), which is provided in the form of an element made of a shape-memory alloy and capable of being displaced from one of the seats when the closing element (13) is heated. The direction of displacement is transversal to the normal direction of the seat (14a, 14b).
