PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive crosslinked polyethylene foam which can be produced by a simple step, has fine cells, and excels in conductivity, and its production method. SOLUTION: The method for producing a conductive crosslinked polyethylene foam comprises foaming a foamable crosslinking composition obtained by adding 8-15 pts.wt. conductive carbon, a blowing agent, a blowing auxiliary, and a crosslinking agent to 90-70 pts.wt. low density polyethylene having a density of 0.910-0.935 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and a melt flow rate of 0.5-5.0 g/10 min and 10-30 pts.wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 10-20 wt.%, a density of 0.920-0.945 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and a melt flow rate of 0.5-4.0 g/10 min and kneading the resulting mixture.
