PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery packaging device capable of not only solving any environmental pollution problem but also performing simple battery packaging with excellent yield and appearance. SOLUTION: This battery packaging device comprises a first mesh-like traveling body 5 which loads and carries a battery 6 with a packaging material formed of a heat shrinkable resin, a second mesh-like traveling body 7 which is disposed facing the traveling body 5 to press or hold the battery 6 loaded on the traveling body 5 in a synchronous traveling manner, a pair of sealed heating units 8 and 9 which are disposed facing an upper surface side of the traveling body 7 and blow hot air from hot air blowing holes 8a and 9a formed dispersantly in the facing area, a blower 10 to feed air for hot air to the heating units 8 and 9, and a heating and control means to control the heating of the air for hot air at a predetermined temperature.
