PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition that can impart surface smoothness to a resulting molded article by adding a smaller amount of a lubricant to the ethylene resin composition without deteriorating physical properties and moldability. SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition is a polyethylene resin composition which (1) comprises 100 pts.wt. polyethylene resin (A) and 0.003-0.03 pts.wt. fluorine-based resin or fluorine-based elastomer (B), wherein (2) the polyethylene composition (A) has a melt flow rate of not less than 0.01 g/10 min to not more than 10.0 g/10 min; (3) the resin (A) has a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 5-60; (4) the resin (A) has a weight of 35 g/20 cm to 50 g/20 cm per 20 cm in length of the melt parison at 190°C; and (5) a particle of the fluorine-based resin or the fluorine-based elastomer (B) has a spherical form, has an average particle size of not more than 15μm and is uniformly dispersed.
