PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space heating device for agriculture effectively used for saving energy by applying the technology of a heat pipe in an agricultural field. SOLUTION: An agricultural house 2 is isolated from the outside air by placing a transparent or opaque film 22 over a plurality of frames 21 (pole frames 21a and roof frames 21b). The pole frames 21a are composed of heat pipes 1, and buried in the ground by 0.5 m. The pole frames 21a are heated by ground heat to heat the circumference. A field is furrowed 6 inside of the agricultural house 2, and crops 5 are planted in the furrows 6. In the agricultural house 2, a plurality of supports 3 made of the heat pipes 1 are erected at proper intervals in a state of surrounding the crops 5, and the supports 3 adjacent to each other are connected by a cord 7. The supports 3 are heated by the ground heat, and heat the circumference. The air heated by the heat pipes 1 are circulated in the agricultural house 2, whereby the efficient heating effect can be expected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
