PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage glass melting furnace laminated with a plurality of conductive circumferential walls separated by insulation layers to each other, capable of effectively heating each conductive circumferential wall by canceling a mutual induction generated by each current flowing each conductive circumferential wall, and furthermore capable of temperature controlling each of the conductive wall parts. SOLUTION: The crucible 10 is constituted so that the circumferential part of the crucible formed to have a plurality of circumferential conductive walls 11 and 12 laminated through an insulation part 15, and the currents are supplied to the conductive walls 11 and 12 so as to cancel the mutual induction generated by an interaction of currents flowing the upper conductive wall 11 and the lower conductive wall 12 provided adjacently to each other, wherein the currents flowing routes Ra1, Rb1, and Ra2, Rb2 in the conductive walls 11 and 12 respectively are cancelled as a whole.
