PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purplegold colored ornament having a beautifulness as a noble metal ornament member or to provide a novel material having sufficient strength required for an accessory member. SOLUTION: A spherical alloy powder is prepared from a vacuum-melted material of an alloy, as the raw material, having an oxidation concentration kept as low as possible and comprising 70-85 wt.% Au and the balance being an Al alloy, by a well-known centrifugal spray method hardly accompanied by the formation of an oxidation layer on the surface of particles. Then, by using gold, silver, platinum, or an alloy mainly comprising these noble metals as a reinforcement and ornament, a composite sintered body prevented from oxidation and having a high compactness is produced by a well-known electrical- discharge sintering method for forming diffusion bonding, thus providing excellent effects in molding a reinforced ornament member.
