PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall structure which does not narrow a venting layer thereof, facilitates waterproofing work, and does not degrade waterproofness thereof, and to provide a building unit having the outer wall structure, and a unit building. SOLUTION: The outer wall structure is formed of an outer wall substrate (outer wall substrate panel) 4, an outer wall face plate 6, and the venting layer S. The outer wall substrate 4 has a moisture-permeable face plate 81 arranged on an outdoor side, which face plate 81 has, on a surface thereof, a moisture- permeable waterproof film formed by paint or a moisture-permeable waterproof film 82 bonded thereto. The outer wall face plate 6 is arranged over the outer wall substrate 4 so as to be slightly spaced away from the same.
