Signal transmitter(s) (8.n) produce output signals in a numerical code corresponding with the numbers of terminal units. A data relaying module (4) compares the number code with prior number code, and stores the new value together with an STD dialing- and a subscriber call number. The source address (caller STD and number) is stored simultaneously. The transmission circuit (3, 5) makes connection in accordance with the STD code and subscriber number. Following successful transmission of the connection data including dialing code, called subscriber number, number code and source address, the connection is broken.
