The cover for the gap has a lower horizontal free edge which can be pressed away from the door frame (17) and against the floor (20), either directly via a region at a distance from this free edge or indirectly via at least one intermediate part (4). The gap is automatically sealed by a cover secured to the lower region of the door leaf (16), when the door is closed.
