摘要 Tool cooling is achieved by introducing compressed gas into chambers(11,11';12,12') inside the tool parts(2,3) and then relaxing the gas pressure. An Independent claim is also included for the molding tool whose two parts include chambers connected to both a compressed gas source and gas pressure reduction equipment. Preferred Features: A set temperature profile is realized by using a series of cooling pulses in which compressed gas is intermittently fed into the chambers and pressure reduced after each pulse. Cooling phase parameters, e.g. pressure and intervals between pulses, are controlled on the basis of temperature in the tool parts and/or the plastic melt(7).
