A wedge shaped training unit for preventing thrombosis in legs, consists of at least one foot rest and at least one tilting element which can rest directly on the floor and which is located away from the foot test. The tilting element can be brought into a position in which it almost rests against the foot. The element has a web-like tubular design and an outer polyester material sleeve.
