REPORTER GENE ASSAY METHOD

摘要

It is intended to provide a reporter gene assay method whereby the inherent activity of a test substance can be accurately assayed excluding the effects caused by a decrease in the cell activity capability of expressing protein. This assay method is a reporter gene assay method with the use of luciferase-expressing cells characterized by comprising further transferring a GFP-expression vector into the above cells, measuring the luciferase expression level and the GFP expression level and then judging the luciferase expression level using a decrease in the GFP expression level as an indication of the decrease in the cell activity.
