The triangulation sensor (10) has a light transmitter (12) and an optical detector for detecting the light reflected from the object (15,15'), provided with at least 2 adjacent reception surfaces, with a light distribution device between them providing an outer light spot and an inner light spot of higher intensity, provided by a focusing device (16), e.g. a Fresnel lens or a stepped parabolic mirror with 2 focal widths, positioned infront of the optical detector. |
