PURPOSE: A method for preparing a resin coating solution for a steel plate and a method for treating the surface of a steel plate by using the solution are provided, to improve the corrosion resistance, the formability and the heat stability of a steel plate. CONSTITUTION: The resin coating solution is prepared by mixing 100 parts by weight of a modified ethylene acrylate resin as a binder, 3-30 parts by weight of at least one curing agent selected from a melamine resin and an isocyanate-based curing agent, 3-25 parts by weight of a lubricant mixture of a fluorinated resin modified polyolefin-based wax and a polyethylene-based wax in the ratio of 1:0.3 - 1:0.7, and 10-100 parts by weight of at least one corrosion resistance enhancing material selected from aqueous silica and fumed silicate; and diluting the mixture with pure water to make the final solid part of the coating solution be 5-30 wt%. The surface of a steel plate is treated by coating a chromate-treated zinc-based plated steel plate with the resin coating solution by a thickness of a dry film of 0.5-5 micrometers, calcining it at a temperature of 120-200 deg.C, and cooling the calcined one. |
