MICROWAVE OVEN FOR DRYING CLOTHES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drying method with improvements in the points of influence by the weather, drying time and waste of energy used for drying in natural drying or using a drier by hot blast which are conventional clothes drying methods, to prevent clothes from being damaged by overheating and to extend the range of fiber materials to be dried. SOLUTION: For a clothes drier, an infrared ray sensor sensing the boiling point or higher of water or one of a humidity sensor/a weight sensor sensing the change of humidity/weight is attached to a conventional microwave oven. The sensors determine an appropriate period of drying of the clothes and a power source is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
