PURPOSE: A gate driving circuit of a liquid crystal display device is provided to supply sufficient electric potential to both ends of a storage capacitor by applying a gate low voltage lower than another gate low voltage applied to a front end gate line, thereby preventing deterioration of the picture quality and flicker. CONSTITUTION: A shift register(28) shifts control signals output from an external control unit to sequentially apply the control signals to gate lines at a gap of one horizontal period. A level shifter(29) shifts output signals of the shift register into on/off voltage of the gate lines. A logic circuit is connected between the shift register and the level shifter for controlling output of the gate lines. A gate low voltage selector(30) is connected between the logic circuit and a gate off voltage input terminal of the level shifter for selecting any one of the off voltage of the gate lines corresponding to an output signal of the logic circuit.
