PURPOSE: A device for protecting a belt conveyor trolley is provided to prevent a collision accident of equipment caused by separation of the trolley when a belt is cut. CONSTITUTION: A device for protecting a belt conveyor trolley comprises support frames(6) installed to the front right and left of the trolley(10); a vehicle wheel-leading bar(4) installed to the lower part of the support frame, to sense a vehicle wheel(40) of the trolley; an anchor-fastening connection bar(2) connected with the vehicle wheel-leading bar, to vertically move; and an anchor bracket(1) vertically moving around a central shaft(3) of the support frame. The end portion of the anchor bracket is combined with the anchor-fastening connection bar, and the other end forms a hook type anchor-fastening rod. Force is transmitted to the anchor connection bar by the vehicle wheel-leading bar and the wheel is fastened to the hook type anchor-fastening rod, and thus, the moving of the trolley is stopped. Accordingly, the trolley is protected.
