WATER TREATMENT FACILITIES AND SLUDGE TREATMENT FACILITIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water treatment facilities and sludge treatment facilities which exhibits a remarkable effect particularly when dehydrated sludge is used effectively, for example, composted or can have detecting and adjusting functions so that the dehydrated sludge can keep uniform characteristics such as the moisture content.

SOLUTION: This biological water treatment facilities having an aeration tank 4 provided with an aerating means, a setting/separating tank 5, has a sludge returning stage to return at least a part of the sludge obtained by solid- liquid separation in the tank 5 to the preceding stage. A chemical adding means 30 is installed in the sludge returning stage before the tank 4 for promoting the treatment of activated sludge. A dehydrator 6 is installed for withdrawing the sludge settled in the tank 5 and dehydrating the withdrawn sludge directly without adding a chemical.
