PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defective dividing in manufacturing an organic EL panel with multiple patterns. SOLUTION: Before an organic EL base substrate 11 zoned in plural panel areas 10 is put together with a transparent base substrate 12 corresponding to that substrate using a sealing material 13, a pressure transmission part 19 is formed on the transparent base substrate 12. Then, after those substrates are put together, a scribe groove is formed on the organic EL base substrate 11 along the dividing line set corresponding to the plural panel areas 10, and when the pressure is given to the transparent base substrate 12 from the reverse side, the strong bending stress is given to the part where the scribe groove 15 of the organic EL base substrate 11 is formed through the pressure transmission from the pressure transmission part 19.
