PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine and a credit management method for it causing no trouble when an exchange rate between a coin and credit in a coin changer is different from that in a game machine. SOLUTION: The coin inserted from a coin inlet 52 is converted into credit at a predetermined exchange rate to be stored as coin pool credit 78 of a credit device 50. The credit excepting the coin is stored as a main body pool credit 42 in the slot main body 12 or stored as ordinary pool credit 80 in the credit device 50. The credit of the coin pool credit 78 is not put out as medals, while the main body pool credit 42 and the ordinary pool credit 80 can be put out as the medals. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
