PURPOSE: A resin coating composition for an anti-fingerprint steel sheet and a method for preparing a steel sheet using the composition are provided, to improve the surface tension of a steel sheet without deterioration of a processability and to enhance the ink printing property and the adhesive strength of a coating. CONSTITUTION: The resin coating composition comprises a main solution comprising a water-solubilized ethylene-acryl resin and 15-25 phr of silica; and 0.5-1 phr of an imine ester and 3-10 phr of an olefin-based wax. Preferably the olefin-based wax is an ethylene-based wax, a propylene-based wax or their mixture. The method comprises the steps of coating the composition on a chromate-treated zinc-electroplated steel sheet with a thickness of a dry coating of 0.5-1.5 micrometers, and baking it at a temperature of 100-200 deg.C. |
