PURPOSE: A control method of low temperature operation of an electronic refrigerator is provided to prevent increase of temperature of a freezer compartment. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: a first step(S41,S42) sensing surrounding temperature of a refrigerator to determine whether the surrounding temperature is low; a second step(S43,S44,S45,S46,S47) detecting working state of a compressor if the surrounding temperature is low, turning off a low temperature lamp if the compressor works, turning on the low temperature lamp if the compressor is not working, and sensing temperature in a refrigerator compartment; and a third step(S48,S49,S50) determining whether the temperature in the refrigerator compartment is satisfactory during sensing of the temperature in the refrigerator compartment, turning on the compressor and a fan motor if the temperature in the refrigerator compartment is unsatisfactory, and turning off the compressor and the fan motor if the temperature in the refrigerator compartment is satisfactory.
