PURPOSE: A one room refrigerator and a control method of the same are provided to rapidly respond to new load. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator includes a refrigerator main body(1) having a storage space(2) therein; a door(4) opening and closing the storage space; and a pair of evaporators(22,24) placed on an inside wall of the storage space to exchange heat directly with air in the storage space, and arranged on both sides of the storage space. The evaporator is installed to occupy some of a rear wall of the storage space, and some of a left side or a right side, simultaneously. A control method includes the steps of: a step sensing temperature of sensors(Sa,Sb) installed on both sides in the storage space, respectively; a step controlling a three-way valve to supply refrigerant only to the evaporator corresponding with a part of the storage space with temperature higher than a set temperature; and a step controlling the three-way valve to supply refrigerant simultaneously to both of the evaporators if temperature of the whole of the storage space is higher than the set temperature.
