PURPOSE: An ultrasonic sensor and a remote-inspecting device for a strip welding section are provided to safely and easily measure a fault of the strip welding section by measuring the strip welding section from a remote place using the ultrasonic sensor. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic sensor includes a sensor case, an ultrasonic wave generating section, and an ultrasonic wave receiving section. The ultrasonic wave generating section is accommodated in the sensor case and has a magnet(51) for forming a bias field according to a pulse applied thereto, and a probe(52) having a ferrite core(521) for forming a dynamic field, which is vertically crossing the bias field, and a coil(522). The ultrasonic wave receiving section is accommodated in the sensor case so as to detect the reflected ultrasonic wave. A magnetic flux is increased by means of the ferrite core(521) so that strong ultrasonic waves are generated, thereby sensing the fault of the strip welding section.
