DEFLECTION YOKE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to enhance the deflection sensitivity by increasing partially the thickness of a ferrite core to increase the magnetic permeability of the ferrite core. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke includes a coil separator, a horizontal and a vertical deflection coil, a ferrite core(14), and a deflection sensitivity portion(20). The coil separator is formed with a screen portion, a rear cover, and a neck portion. The screen portion and the rear cover are coupled to one side of a screen side of a cathode ray tube. The neck portion is coupled to an outer circumference of an electron gun portion of the cathode ray tube. The horizontal and the vertical deflection coils are installed on an inner face and an outer face of the coil separator to form the horizontal and the vertical deflection magnetic fields. The ferrite core is coupled to the outer face of the coil separator to enhance the magnetic field. The deflection sensitivity portion improves the deflection sensitivity by increasing the magnetic permeability of the ferrite core.
