<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic structure, by which a molding speed factor can be set higher than when it is conventionally set, during extrusion-molding the ceramic structure. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the ceramic structure comprises the steps to mix/knead a ceramic batch raw material containing at least a ceramic power and water and dry/bake an extrusion-molded product after extrusion-molding. In this method, a non-water soluble liquid lubricant composed mainly of an acyl glycerine and/or its derivative is added to the ceramic batch raw material. The viscosity of the non-water soluble liquid lubricant at 50°C is preferably 15 to 45 cP. Further, it is preferable for the ceramic batch raw material to add 2.0 to 8.0 outer wt.% of methyl cellulose to 100 wt.% of the ceramic powder.
