MULTI-FUNCTIONAL CONTACT TIP

PURPOSE: A multi-functional contact tip is provided to improve welding quality and reliability of a welder with reducing an amount of gas to be used by improving a structure of a contact tip in a multi-functional structure. CONSTITUTION: A multi-functional contact tip(1) is coupled to a diffuser(3) of a welding torch. A corrugate part is formed at an end of the multi-functional contact tip(1). Gas is properly guided by varying width, size, shape and position of the corrugate part, thereby improving welding quality. Pressure of a wire side is greater than pressure of a nozzle side. A protrusion is formed at an end of the corrugate part. The end of the multi-functional contact tip(1) is concave in order to guide an overlap.
