PURPOSE: A device for throwing raw materials into electric furnace is provided to prevent raw materials from scattering to the outer part of the electric furnace in the process of pouring scrap contained in basket into the electric furnace. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a basket (B) which is hoisted by crane, to the lower part of which cram shell(12) is connected by hinge, and into which raw materials are charged; a ring plate part comprising a ring plate(11) installed at the lower part of the basket, a connecting rod both sides of which are connected to the ring plate and cram shell by hinge, and guide plates(14) formed at left and right sides of the ring plate with being oppositely directed to each other; and a guide pipe(22) installed at the basket to guide the guide plates, wherein in order to fix the ring plate during non-charging of the raw materials, the device for throwing the raw materials into the electric furnace comprises a resting frame(24) installed at the outer side of the basket, a fixing pin(23) elastically supported to the inner part of the guide pipe, an inserting groove which is formed on the outer surface of the guide plates(14), and into which the fixing pin is inserted, and a moving bar(25) rested on the resting frame and connected to the fixing pin through a wire rope(26) fixed to both sides of the moving bar.
