APPARATUS OF FIXING FUNNEL FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An apparatus of fixing a funnel for cathode ray tube is provided to fix correctly and stably the funnel by operating simultaneously the first and the second contact members by means of a bidirectional rod type air cylinder. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus of fixing a funnel includes a base(40), an air cylinder(41), the first and the second arms(49,50), the first and the second contact members(53,54), the first and the second pivots(55,56), and a bearing member(57). The base is used for supporting a seal edge of a funnel(1). The air cylinder is installed at a center of an upper face of the base. The air cylinder has the first rod(44a), the second rod, and a synchronization portion for synchronizing the first and the second rods by the compressed air. The first and the second contact members are installed at the first and the second arms to support an inner face of the funnel. The first and the second pivots are installed at lower sides of the first and the second contact members. The bearing member is installed at the base to support rotations of the first and the second pivots.
